Agriculture

High water demand for crop irrigation, livestock care, and food processing creates a need for effective resource management in agriculture. Agricultural operations generate various types of wastewater, including runoff from fields, animal facilities, and water used in processing. Nviro manufactures onsite treatment systems for efficient water use and sustainable farming practices.

Dairies

When manure is captured, anaerobic digesters are used to recover the biogas. This process produces a by-product of anaerobic digestion, also known as digestate and anaerobic sludge. Nviro dewaters the digestate sludge using screens, centrifuges, and dewatering screws. We also treat the digestate using biological treatment, removing the harmful loadings by using products such as Fixed Film Reactors (FFRs), Activated Sludge (AS), and Membrane Bioreactors (MBRs). These solutions reduce environmental impact, manage nutrients, and improve soil health at dairies.

Irrigation

To ensure irrigation is safe for crops and human consumption, water must be treated to remove harmful contaminants. Using treated wastewater for irrigation reduces the demand for freshwater sources, promoting sustainability and lowering operational costs. This wastewater can naturally contain nutrients beneficial for plant growth, potentially reducing the need for additional fertilizers. Nviro provides the products and solutions to achieve your irrigation water and wastewater treatment needs.
